We present to your attention a presentation of a report on the possibilities of phage therapy in the treatment and prevention of microbial infections in the practice of a gastroenterologist, prepared by Nikolai Mikhailovich Martynyuk, a clinical pharmacologist (Kharkiv)

The report, in particular, discusses the role of the human microbiome, the importance of its preservation, the features of action, pharmacodynamics and pharmacokinetics of phage preparations, as well as the possibilities of using phage therapy in gastroenterological practice.
